Nutrition is the science that establishes the relationship between a person’s diet and the levels of health.

The body requires 6 main things in order for it to function correctly, Carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins, minerals and water. These all need to be combined  on a daily basis. If one of these becomes low or deficient, a negative impact occurs on the body and illness or a general feeling of unwell may result.

The key to a balanced diet is moderation, variation and most importantly, it should taste good.  Organic foods offer a safer, more reliable source of nutrients. Pesticides, heavy metals, additives, hormones and other toxic pollutants are now unfortunately abundant in our societies produce so we need to be more selective about where we source our food from.
